What are you using it for??

I'm using it more and more to learn how to Properly manage my RedHat server. I've been a computer nerd forever, but running a server is WAY above my paygrade!!! I made a temp one over on AWS, and started asking ChatGPT how to configure it. Once I had that all done, I installed WordPress on it, and it worked swimmingly! lol Then I started performance tuning the server Specifically for WP, and got it all dialed in. It was actually kinna fun, knowing if I DID fuck anything up, I could just start over again! The whole process probably took me a couple of months.

Eventually, I spun up a new VM at my hosting company, and moved all my clients to it. Fast and smooth.

ChatGPT for the win!
 
I've used it to help with writing tasks; when i get stuck and dont like how something reads I'll toss what I have in there and it will usually spit out a few things I like that can be incorporated into what I'm doing.
 
It works for looking up part numbers and check engine light codes too.
 
We have a new rule for State employees that says we must now write in plain, easy-to-understand language. It should be at an 8th-grade reading level. I've been using ChatGPT for my case reports to accomplish this.

Use it mostly for release notes to the big wigs who don’t understand bullet points and geek speak.
 
Has anyone tried a AI Recorder like Plaud?

When will LEO wear these as a secondary tool to body cams?

 
I bought my daughter a Surface Pro for her college lectures. It's beyond amazing the things it can do.
