I'm on the fence. .. My TH and one of my Razors burned in a fire. I'm left with 1 Razor and a Toy Box. If/when they sell, I might tap.

PS. I'm 51 and started going (Pismo) when I was 11, so 40 years.

I was pretty much done with the dunes a few years ago, did 95% hard pack only hitting the dunes when friends came up.
Picking up a PRO-R has rekindled the fire a taste. Being 12 miles from the dunes (Saint Anthony) does make a huge difference though, not sure how much I’d go to Glamis if I was still in So-Cal with a 4 hour drive.

I did the same thing 2 years ago. Sold my 18 year old buggy and trailer and was basically done after 38 years in Glamis. FF after a boring summer I realized how much I missed it. So I went and bought a smaller TH and a new 23 Canam. Couldn't be happier. I'm 66 and only make it out 6-7 trips a season now. There's nothing like duning and hanging out with friends. Like said above, if the labor and hassle outweighs the fun, it's time. Good luck with your next endeavor !

Great stories here.

I am 56. I have been an avid 2 wheel MX guy since I was about 8years old. I fell in love with Mother G back in 2000. I have since done both 2 and 4 wheels these last 24 years. So many great memories and stories have come outta this time.

We too raised all our kids riding and camping between places like G and Ocotillo etc. We have 1 kiddo left outta 4. He is only 13 and now it's just he and I in our little 21 footer and a couple quads. If it were up to my boy he'd stare at a screen 24/7. But I insist on getting him out camping and riding.

Loading, prepping machines, driving, & paying for everything has gotten really old. I am now finding a lot of comfort in life just hanging around my house doing projects with an occasional SXS ride outta my drive way.  But I do it all for the kid, butI do still have a ton of fun too I guess.

Here's our latest trip.

My girls are kinda the same but they love Glamis more than anything.   And once they're out there, they barely touch their phones unless it's to look at pictures they took along the way
