If it was me I would answer it. However..... I'm not sure I would be 100% honest. These kinds of surveys they use to determine if they should continue to extend the rolling exemptions and the amount of pollution being pumped into the air.
They ran an experiment that started years ago. When the state sells a state owned vehicle they put a vin stop on it so it can no longer be registered within the state. All us guys with old cars are gonna start getting vin stops after 2035Anyone else get one of these? Definitely not filling it out, just wondering what it’s about/what effed up legislation this is getting at?

The only self serving in this state is the self serving that benefits the state. They give zero effs about the 2% of population with a 1975 and older vehicle. Let alone the 15% with 2005 and older vehicles.Normally i would agree l, but this is a bit self serving, so i ld make the time.
Do you have any proof this is actually a plan? I'm not saying it's not, but I've never heard of it before. I don't see how this would benefit the state any (aside from the obvious anti-intenal combustion engine agenda). They ran an experiment that started years ago. How does the rest of the plan benefit the state? It doesnt, its about control not benefit. The way the current law is written there is no more new gas powered sales on set date. And a giant open for interpretation as to what happens with the current fleet of gas powered vehicles. They are already trying to claim this is warmest summer; bs. Total normal if not mild summer so far.Do you have any proof this is actually a plan? I'm not saying it's not, but I've never heard of it before. Truth!I will state this without equivocation
there is not a single govt bureaucracy in california that is concerned with YOU or YOUR best interests
So do you mean when the state sells a car, it has to be sold out of state? And for the second part, do you mean there will be a point when an old car registration cannot be renewed? They ran an experiment that started years ago. I am hearing that is whats coming. And yes, the state has been doing that for about 15 years now. You used to be able to get k5 military blazers (m1009) from the national guard for like 1500$ now they cannot be sold in the stateSo do you mean when the state sells a car, it has to be sold out of state? (I have a bro in law in CA with a 56 Chevy, maybe I can pick it up for pennies on the dollar, lol)
I agree 100%. My point was if someone is going to put in the effort to pass a law it has to benefit somone (typically them). Who would it benefit to make it so I can't register my old hot rod.I will state this without equivocation

i see your point. And it makes sense in a corruption free world. The green business is a multi trillion dollar scam. The same 5-10 giant govt corp rake in huge profits selling a mandated technology, and senators, presidents, congressmen, ceo’s, banks, local officials and regulators are bribed by campaign or non profit donations, and other means. I mighr run for govt office just for the moneyI agree 100%. My point was if someone is going to put in the effort to pass a law it has to benefit somone (typically them). Years ago when they put the rolling exemption back in place the study that was used to allow it showed that a REALLY small percentage of those pre 65 cars (where the exemption was, at the time) were ever driven. So for the state it was free money. I'm sure the same applies now. So the obky reason to kill that would be to further an agenda...
