Campsite light

x14 or whatever on this thread.

Agreed, but when it's 10pm and camp light bright is next to you it's annoying as hell. You don't need a camp light so bring to light up a whole campsite to work on something or cook...just like music, make it loud enough / bright enough to enjoy it yourself, not the whole campsite, otherwise you're being selfish and assume everyone wants to hear the same music or wants a light bright enough to light up an entire camp.
Necessary for midnight kids' quad races...

A couple years ago, these peeps pull up right next to our camp and pull out their new See Devil light that proceeded to shine thru my blinds all night long.  The next morning, I asked if they could shut it off at a responsible time, they proceeded to give me the finger.  I moved my Moho 25 feet and a different angle so I could sleep.  Sorry, I enjoy my campfire time.

Cooking and early evening fun is good with me, not racing at midnight.

I ended up taking a 48 inch LED Light Bar ($50 bucks) and mounting it above the door on the trailer / Camp and work area are BRIGHT and its way less money than a lot of other ways

:poule:

sounds like a new product idea for @Whipsandshyt.  the pit viper lights are nothing more than a whip with an off the shelf cast aluminum flag mount....

FWIW, I bought a couple of these & made brackets to hang them on the side of my trailer.  I normally only hang one, but can hang 2 of Im working on the car.

I drilled holes in the bottom of my trailer & put 2 of these in (the 4 pin versions).  they are fed from a switch inside of the trailer, next to the interior lights.

Conpex Telescopic Light

Circular Conpex Telescopic Light

I have the two of the first link and one of the second. Mine didn't have a tripod like the first link, but I bought a set of 10ft tripods and mounted them because the telescopic fishing pole thing was not the best solution. I run them off of a Jackery battery. I like the inflatable lights, but the light shooting up into the sky is a waste unless you are in an enclosed area and want to light up every corner.

Also, lights left on after hours suck. Use your light when you need to see: grilling, doing repairs, etc. Then, shut them off and enjoy nature!
