Cabo 2025 in the books

Cheryl and I took a much-needed break and headed to Cabo for 6 days.
Riu Palace Baja: All-Inclusive
Didn't take a ton of pics...left the phones in the safe and just enjoyed our time.
Spent every day out by the pool, relaxed, to awesome walks on the beach, drank a bit more than a lot, had some great food, and just relaxed!

We are at the Airport when we were getting ready to leave and I hear "Dale?"
I look over and it is Eric @Meter Tech LOL, small world.
My wife also ran into someone at our resort she hadn't seen in 30 years.
Fun times!

We are ready to go back.

I miss Cabo, but I miss the Cabo of 1990 more than the new and built up Cabo. Funny, One of my first trips to Cabo I had an older guy tell me how the place has gone to shit, I should have seen it in the 70's.
Glad you had a great trip. Photos are bad ass.

Love that place, just booked again for this summer. Did you know if you call to the front desk they will swap out any of the room bar for something you may like. I ditched the nasty jose and got a decent silver

We will be going back...probably yearly, we liked it that much!
We are in total detox now, LMAO!!!

I stuck with one drink the whole time except dinner I had wine.
They made this drink called a sunrise: Rum, Vodka, Orange and Strawberry juice!
It was dangerously good. LOL

Same here, gonna look into Puerto or Cancun RIU as well for future trips.

I did the same, just stuck with Taquilla squirts and a fook ton of scobby snacks from people we met at the swim up bar.

If you go next door to the Santa Fe you can get anything you want on the beach

We went next door to the Sante Fe one night for the neon party...we lasted about 30 minutes!

Like going to the co-ed strip club (girls and guys dancing on platforms) with what seemed like a 100 person bachelor party in the pool!
HAHAHA Not our scene.

Cabo rocks.
Baja Palace is better than Santa Fe, IMO.
Cancun is awesome also. Have done 2 Riu's there.

Puerto Riu is where we met some people that live 5 min from us here in AZ.
Still hang out with them.

Just booked the Riu Palace in Cancun for September!!!!!! This post gave me the bug!!!!!

We love Cabo, but now we use it only for long weekends (4 days). So much great food in town as well, very rarely do we eat dinner at the resort anymore.
