I believe cement flats is temporary while the old is torn out and the new one built.
 
The Buttercup ranger station is nicer than Gecko, it is needed. Just sucks that they are putting the temp location on Cement flats. i would rather build another pad and put it there, then when the station is done there is more camping.....
 
That building is tiny, shitty and old old old. I have friends who have property in Ocotillo, and the desert rips those temp structures apart. No one expects temp buildings to last forever, do they?

Sucks to spend money, but the existing structure has been a problem for the staff there for a while now. Hopefully this means the rangers we interact with will be nicer. :ROFLMAO:
