Big Boy Purchase Weekend Warrior LE3505

He clearly mentioned using a small Inverter for those 110v needs, which is supported by the question of "What's going on with your batteries?".

No one NEEDS a Xantrex Inverter... but they are available if you feel you do.
We have a le3505 as well. Best thing we did was throw on some home solar panels and a good magnum 3k watt inverter. I’m still using 2 cheap 12v die hard lead acid batteries. (Yes undersized but get 5 or 6 years out of them). Was out for 7 days for Thanksgiving and never had to run generator once. We can use coffee maker, microwave, basically anything except AC.

It doesn't have an invertor, so no way to run 110v of the batteries. My son's GFs trailer is the same way.
Exactly so it's either add an inverter, or have to run the generator any time to use the wall outlets. I just want to be able to watch tv or plug things in without running the generator haha.

An easy fix if you dont want to get into transfer switches and all that stuff is to

Get a nice Inverter - Wire it up near the battery - get some thick extension cords - run them up to new outlets next to you TVs and cut the plug and wire it to another wall outlet next to the one that is there (Label it Inverted Power)

Now your tvs will run off 12V power and you can have a cell phone charger or whatever else you want.

If you wanna add a solar pannel or two - you will be set. Its really only the TV for us or a fan that we need - we run the genny in the am for coffee and a quick recharge. Its great not running the genny all the time

So that answers the question, you want to be able to use the wall outlets all the time.

You can do like Poule43 said, or install solar, good batteries and a large inverter and then have someone wire the trailer to run all of the outlets off of the inverter.

I have done some/most of this.
I have lots of solar, Lithium and a 2000 Watt inverter.
I run an extension cord from my inverter and into the back thru my ramp.
I then have cords to run everything inside, TV, computers, monitors etc.
Messy having cords on the floor, but until I get all of the wall plugs wired to run off the inverter, I have to do it.

I have a bad habit of watching TV to fall asleep, and our trailer has solar and invertor, but still would not run the TV's unless the generator was on. For simplicity, I got a 1000w power station and it sits below the TV in the bedroom, so I just plug it in and set a sleep timer at night. It was one of these off of AmazonPOWER STATION.png

These just keep getting better, smaller, quieter and best of all cheaper.

Easy option for sure.

I had an 06 LE3305, miss that rig. For the 110 issue I just had a few of the 300watt 12v inverters plugged in next to the TV's since there was a cigarette outlet.

I'll have a Honda 3000 for sale when it's done at the shop - adjusted valves, replaced battery, etc. etc. etc. Just added a wheel kit to it and will be ready to burn fuel as soon as the shop is done with it. @greasemonkey I'll need to keep the 2200s since we use 6 of them for the ceremony. and definitely not dragging a 3000 to the flag pole, lol!

the small inverters are great if you have enough batteries to handle what you are throwing at it. When I added starlink to the setup I gave up on the 1500w inverter on this rig and just run the genny.

I had an 07 LE3505 and it was the best trailer I’ve ever owned. And I’ve owned a lot of RVs. I bought it off a guy on here. I wish I knew where it ended up. If it’s still on the road.
