Excited to spend Thanksgiving week in my new to me toy hauler! One weekend in a tent was all I needed to make the upgrade. It needs a little TLC and a deep cleaning, but it should be ready to head out Sunday morning! Hopefully my Gen 3 Funco fits without having to swap the tires, haha.

I had a LE3705, loved that trailer, it does everything well. My gen 3 and 4 fit without taking tires off, game changer

i have an 09 3505, needs some work but still a good trailer. my rzr turbo s 4 seat with sand tires fits easily, i really dont need a trailer that size i wanted a smaller one, its only my daughter and myself. but having the rzr fit so easy is very nice. for being a 2009 i think its held up pretty well. seen newer ones that are falling apart not holding up the way the warrior has. i am lucky and get to store it inside, but i have only had it 3 years.

First trip with it was Thanksgiving week, and it worked out great! Just a couple of small things to sort out, but overall it was solid. I did have to change the front tires to fit between the wheel wells.

One thing I found surprising is that this trailer only has a converter, not an inverter. The generator has to be running to get 110. I’m honestly surprised they built it that way. I’d prefer not to have the generator running all day when it really doesn’t need to be.

another option is to run a Honda 2000 or equivalent rather then the generator.

Why does the generator need to run all day?
With no solar, decent batteries should hold up.
Before I added solar/inverter, I had 2 6 Volts and they held up all day with just using basic stuff, 12 Volt TV, phone chargers on a small inverter etc.

It's actually NOT a surprise. Your trailer was built in the mid/late 00's and that level of added tech was not included at that time. Inverters were seen as an "Add on" for anything below $120,000 (ish) coming from the factory... unless you requested it on your NEW build.

My 2009 HKD4005 has an Inverter added by the original Owner, not the manufacturer. List price was over $100,000 when new.

It doesn't have an invertor, so no way to run 110v of the batteries. My son's GFs trailer is the same way.

I get it.
I have a 2006 LE3505.

My point of my question is why run the genny all day?
I never have had to do that in owning my trailer since 2004.
Unless something is running that requires it.
If that was me, I would get a Honda to run everything but the AC.

He clearly mentioned using a small Inverter for those 110v needs, which is supported by the question of "What's going on with your batteries?".

No one NEEDS a Xantrex Inverter... but they are available if you feel you do.
