Best sand car battery

I’ve had great luck with Total Power 1200s. 2 in the last 10 years, my car used to be super cold blooded (went to the big Hi-Torque since the lower models don’t hit Nissan’s minimum crank sensor speed) and I’ve killed them to not even lighting indicator lights many times.

Don’t forget to plug in your tenders gentlemen. :ROFLMAO:

I bought two Total Power 1500s for my car. Herbst uses them in thier trophy trucks and I’ve heard good things.

Always have the red top Optima.
They last 4-5 years.

For sure don't run those little PCXXX batteries.
All my buddies that run those might get 1-2 years.

I've had the same odyssey for 7 years, and put one in my boat 2 years ago, cranks a big block with no issues. I will continue to use them till they are no longer made. Best damn battery I've ever used

Edit to ad they are both the pc925

I have 2 Odyssey PC925 in my car. Ive heard good things of the Full Throttle FT410 (same size as the PC925).

XS 3400 for me. like a big battery. mounted up front to keep more weight on the nose

PC925 for 5 years no issues. We don't run a stereo or fancy lights so not much demand. It cranks a 6.0 through 12' of 0 guage welding cable just fine. And just FYI, I've used a 100a alternator energized with the Holley resistor for 5 seasons and no issues with battery life or charging. The new chassis may get 2 of them for redundancy.

i have been running the pc925 get 5-6 years out of them i did have a problem i let them go dead and they don't come back you need to have a battery switch with them and never let them sit dead. i don't really like them but i haven't tried any thing else

I have had 2 Total Power batteries leak, one covered under warranty, the 2nd one was not. Switched to Odyssey and never looked back.

Like the odysseys here had a 680 in my buggy but Honda needed more when I swapped from vw. Put a 925 in buggy worked great. It just went out and I got the full throttle 410 cause I saved some money lol.

As for the old 680 I bought in 2017 I threw it in one of my jet skis 3 years ago still going strong. Normally the vibration kills regular battery’s

Dual Optima blue tops in my car. New last season, first set went 6 seasons.

Recently prepped a car with a Full Throttle battery that was all blowed up and shit.

Are the blue tops better for any reason than the yellows? I just bought a yellow top and a new battery box to swap out my dual total power batteries, just haven’t installed it yet. I’m just wondering if I made a mistake buying the yellow instead of the blue.

The yellow is fine. The bule top has the standard battery posts and the 3/8" threaded post.

Odyssey is made in USA
Optima is made in Mexico
