I'm in search of a 4-seater SxS (as an alternative to Jeep) for Eastern TN trail riding- slick mud, slick rocks, steep climbs, etc.

Don't necessarily need a speed beast (but not out of the question because SxS' can be made street legal).

What are y'alls recommendations?

The Polaris Pro-S is a solid car for trails.

whatever you do please don't take your new SXS to Glamis, we don't want the sandcar f-words getting their panties in a bunch when you personally make all those studder bumps.

If you want a used unit that is basically Brand New Cheffs buddy has a 4 seat Hi lifter can am with the Mud tires and everything ready to go.. Good unit with only 500 miles on it.. It is in the for sale section

Go check out your local riding area and see what is popular in your area.
New Can Am's are nice, might not fit on some of your trails
New RzR Pro's are nice might be more car than you need.
Kawi, Nice trail and rock car
Mud, I have no idea, because I don't ride in the rain or mud.

Do you wanna get back at the end of the day, under your own power?

The Honda Talon comes in two different widths. The narrow one would be perfect for trails.

Won't be the fastest, or the flashiest, but it's probably The most dependable car.

The Honda Pioneer has a regular automatic trans.....I think. They are Honda reliable w/farm suspension. Some people don't like CVTs.....I have one on my Rhino.

does anyone own one of these Honda Pioneers? they wont say HP in any documentation and was wondering how it is compared to the earlier Yamaha rhino 700? was looking at upgrading the wife's ranchmobile

What is your budget?

Big budget a new Pro S or Pro R
Kawi KRX 4 seater is great for trails

I always thought that was odd....it seems that the other manufacturers don't show their HP ratings.

My 660 Rhino has 30-35HP and will be topped out at 35mph (and screaming)

They don't say what the HP is here (again odd), but a 500 Pioneer is 5 mph faster than my Rhino, and a 700 5mph faster than that.

This says 61HP
