Ok, Ive just thrown away my Nextgrill Costco BBQ. Its been a decent grill for 5 years but is just worn out. Warped and rusty.  I'm Looking for portable and fitment into the 5th wheel storage bay.    I am used to setting up a table and putting the grill on that to use.  I see others with their own stands and small side trays.  Curious how they hold up to the sand and storage.

Whats the grill to get? What fits 4 decent steaks and a few taters? What the go to grill today?

Cleaning and prepping here and there for this up coming season.

Saw this little Coleman and got me thinking about this style.

I threw out my Weber Q as well.  I plan to get a BlackStone 22-28 inch.  You can "grill" on it but a lot more.

I have the two burner Blackstone, just throw it on a table.  I also still have a barbeque, but I only use it for a couple of things, like hot dogs....almost don't need it anymore.  If I did steak and chicken I would still use the barbeque.  We have changed our meals to more simple ones.

The flat top is so good for Breakfast (zero dishes).  For dinner we do Philly Cheesesteaks, tacos............stayed tuned for more recipe ideas, Ha

I've got a Q-Grill that works great...but thinking of adding a Blackstone as well....would need to re-organize the 5th wheel storage a little...anyone using the single burner Blackstone....thoughts?

2 burner table top Blackstone with a hood is all you need.

They have a larger cooking area then that Coleman, I have the Coleman XL Road trip model and its great for tailgating, but the cooking surface is smaller.

...and when you just want to BBQ...

I had a Q Grill that I used every day.  I grilled just about everything, if it would fall through the grill I would put a pan or pot on there & do it that way.

the only thing I didnt like was when it was windy it was kind of temperamental.  I put pins in the fold out tables that allowed me to keep them vertical when I was cooking.  that helped, especially if I had to open it to stir something or flip something.   if it was too windy, I took it into the trailer.

I have the Coleman with the adapter to plug into my trailer for gas supply. After four years the igniter still works! Folds pretty flat, and about three feat long for storage

We have a 17” Blackstone that folds up fairly flat has own legs and a Traeger tailgater that has own legs works good for us. Traeger does take electricity but we have inverter and solar.

Always liked my Weber Q had the 200 for years and part of my downsizing was the grill and traded @matt86m for his 100 size. As far as I know both are going strong. I had to replace the regulator on the 220 but wasn't a big deal. The Blackstone won't perform and better in the wind and sand will get on the griddle.........that's my 2 cents at least. My old one that Matt has is probably about 16 years old now.

I bought the Sam's club 36" version and it kicks arse...

I have one of the Webers. I think the model is 1200 or something like it. Was pretty expensive and I've been disappointed. Doesn't stay lit all the time and when it does, only half the burners are working. @BENCH brings a full size one that the group uses and it kicks ass.

Weber Q for the Win!!!! (Atc70 Style of course   )  I have the plans if you decide to go down this road!!!

I have the Coleman, and have been happy with it.

One way to fix the finicky Weber Q is to enlarge the main propane output jet. Just 1 drill bit size larger than stock and it is good to go. Most folks in our group have done this with no issues
