My sons friend boss was one of the ones Killed in that accident and the guy that got killed his teenage son lost his Hand and his dad too and his dad was his only parent that had custody of him

Did they figure out what happened? Only saw short clips but it didn't look like the driver was showing off.

They don't know what really happened..Maybe never know. I was told the guy that was moving the truck wasn't the normal driver of the truck

That's what I heard as well....looks like he blipped the throttle, not knowing the torque converter was gonna go full lockup and it launched the truck.
