Whats the difference between "cover photo" and avatar? I thought Cover photo was just for the profile page

The cover photo will be in the background on your profile page and may show behind your avatar. Like my 3 wheeler

Click on your blue B above will bring you to your page. In the upper left Click on the the little box by Blue B and it will let you up load a pic.
