I'm looking at a 2022 Jeep Wrangler 4xe with low miles that seems to be in great condition and decently priced for my 17-year-old daughter. I haven't found anything to negative about them online. I'm seeing that the battery will get you about 25 miles which is great because mostly everywhere she goes is a 25-mile round trip. Anyone with real world 1st hand knowledge of these Wranglers?

Plenty of battery issues, and the battery is inside the passenger compartment. Why not just buy a regular Wrangler?

I follow the Jeep thread on Reddit and it looks like there are a ton of reliability issues with them. Personally I would only buy one brand new with a nice OEM warranty behind it.

Check the replacement price is for an alternator. It will actually turn into a motor for accelerating and then it helps in braking.

"I'm seeing that the battery will get you about 25 miles which is great because mostly everywhere she goes is a 25-mile round trip." This was the attractive part to me. It includes a 8 year/100k mile warranty on the batteries/electrical system system so I'm covered for awhile.

I've got a 22 Rubicon JLU 3.6 non-etouqe, I drove a 18 base 2.0l JLU a few years back and that little turbo 2.0l was awesome. The 3.6 I have now, eh...

Lots of battery issues with the 4XE to the point of de-valuing them. Just bought my wife a new JLU Rubicon and went with the 2.0 after lots of research...

Only buy a jeep to go jeeping. Other than that they suck. Ride quality sucks. Comfort sucks. Reliability sucks.
