Anyone us a macerator?

i made one using a garbage disposal. worked awesome and was much better than the 12v ones you can buy. i used a 1hp unit for those big turds :lol: regular toilet paper wasnt an issue either.

I disagree with that statement. I chit a lot on a mostly carnivorous diet and use plenty of paper as well as a very necessary follow up with wet wipe. I sometimes wonder if I actually eat as much as I chit cuz it often doesn't add up

Try my method, it works great but I don't have a normal toilet in my trailer.

Granny chair with a bucket filled with cat littler (the good smelling stuff)

when done, tie up that bag and toss in the trash like I do with the cat sh*t.

Easy peasy....no clean up after trips...works great.

I have been using the flojet macerator on my RV for 2 years no issues, great for dumping at home and cleaning your tanks
