Anyone on here live in Havasu?

Can I Hijack a bit for those that live there?
I'm renting a house out there for Labor Day weekend...What dog friendly restaurants would you recommend?

Also - I'm planning to launch our boat one day on Havasu - and one day on Parker (the wife hasn't seen either yet) - I plan to Launch at the Lake Havasu state park - I've used it before and I mainly want to show her the upper area (Pirate cove / and above).

But for Parker I'm not sure where best to launch...I've only launched at the blue water.

Figure I'll launch around 9/9:30ish to be on the safe side to assure a parking spot.

Any recommendations appreciated.

In Parker...

You'll wanna launch after noon. The level fluctuates DAILY. It drops at night, and is very low in the morning.

You can tell the noobs cause the boat they beached at night, are 10 feet away from the water in the morning! 🤣

Launch at Pirates. No current, nice gas dock, and food if you're hungry.

The service Suck azz in the restaurant though, so you best not be in a hurry!!!

Don't listen to Rivermobster.  He just says stuff to set you up for failure.  🤣

Joe, hope all is well man!  It's been a minute.

it only fluctuates maybe 6 inches down in the keys?

Full time in Havasu for 3 years now. Building our dream home in the North end of town.

Lake Summer, Desert winter.

We love it here.

we love it as well.   Some of the best off reading in the country right out your garage door..

Wife has a rental at Havasupai & San Juan but we aren't out there.

Yep. Much less down there, but even at six inches of height, that's a whole bunch of feet on a slightly sloped shore line!

I've seen it too many times to count!

🤣

@RiverDave

Here is a morning pic from Big Bend.  You can easily see, from the discoloration on the wood and the rocks across the way, how much the water drops.

And on Thursdays, it's even worse!

yes there’s several spots up that wash and up on top of that ridge..     we usually go twice a month during the winter.

thinking about joining the Sara park range though just because it’s pretty nice..

We lived just above the high school on Hidden Valley Dr. but moved to Phoenix in 2006 and have only been back a few times for Desert Storm but even that was 15 years ago. We've still got our boat but never use it.
