Any update on the badly burned guy?

Terrible news. SO fkin sad. RIP Mr S. I can only imagine the pain that required inducing a coma. I had 3rd degree burns with the zombie flesh hanging from me... worst pain I have ever had... road rash ground away most of my burn scars.

No idea of the particular situation, other than what that FM post mentioned, but I have and continue to host total newbies in the dunes. Making sure that they fully and completely understand how to remove the belts and exit the vehicle has become a higher priority for me.

I never stopped thinking about that video. My wife is a trauma RN and was freaking out watching that when I showed her screaming “ someone needed to call life flight” saying he was In shock. We prayed for him as that is the worst of the worst.

godspeed fellow Duner such a loss🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

That’s absolutely terrible. I’m so sorry to hear. I feel for the family of this guy knowing everyone saw the video of him.

RIP

Boardmanville is a tool, I'll never give them a dime of my money.
Do you know Lance? (owner of Boardmanville)   He's actually a pretty good dude and does allot to help keep the dunes open. He gets sent the video's,  he's not the one who actually took the video.

Everyone looks at accidents, only after its too late and we see a body do folks regret it. Well some folks.

But Everyone looks.

Wether you like BMV social media was probably already decided before that burn post.

I'd not be surprised if BMV donated $$ to the family.

Their aftermath reels are very popular for a reason.

That video is my worst nightmare for UTVs. Was it a Polaris RZR or what caused the fire, was it stated?

I didn't see the video but saw the still shot of the guy.  Horrendous.  Perhaps it'll remind people there IS serious danger out there and take precautions to not let it happen to them or their family and friends.
