After more digging I guess I meant last year of n/a flat 616 hours ago, Surf and Dune said:
What do you mean the "last years of the flat 6" ? Every 911 is a flat 6. Anyway, I had the same bug since I was about 12 when I went for a ride in my girlfriends dads 911sc. (about1979 or 80). I always told myself I'd have a 911 one day. Back then the Turbo was the goal cause it was the top dog, but today IMO, if you want the ultimate driving experience, you need a normally aspirated car which you only get with a GT4, or GT3 ( and RS ) . The sound they make are just insane. They cost more on the front end, but they also hold their value more.
The GT4s and 3s, including the RS variants are still N/A. The GT2 is turboed. That's what makes them so special, and hold their value so well. 9000rpm redline. After more digging I guess I meant last year of n/a flat 6
