Any Porsche people in here?

Buddy of mine is a fanatic and owns a beautiful modified classic.

Always loved the Porsche maybe one day.

What do you mean the "last years of the flat 6" ?  Every 911 is a flat 6. Anyway, I had the same bug since I was about 12 when I went for a ride in my girlfriends dads 911sc. (about1979 or 80). I always told myself I'd have a 911 one day.  Back then the Turbo was the goal cause it was the top dog, but today IMO, if you want the ultimate driving experience, you need a normally aspirated car which you only get with a GT4, or GT3 ( and RS ) . The sound they make are just insane. They cost more on the front end, but they also hold their value more.

After more digging I guess I meant last year of n/a flat 6

My only Porsche story. Borrowed my buddies I think 914 to go out on a date with a girl I "HAD" to have! Remember them? Anyway, we drove around San Diego, went to the cliffs of La Jolla and had a great time. Pulled over to a gas station and couldn't find the cap to put gas in. Had to call Pat Knopp (the owner) and ask him where the gas cap is. Needless to say, the girl never went out with me again. And I thought i was cool when I picked her up. Peace

The GT4s and 3s, including the RS variants are still N/A. The GT2 is turboed. That's what makes them so special, and hold their value so well. 9000rpm redline.

I've always been a truck guy. Once I thought I would give a car a chance. I bought a Cayenne. I had it for about a year, sold it and bought a Ford Raptor. Man, that Porsche was always having issues. It was $1000+/per month in just repairs/service. Porsches are cool cars, but I won't do it again. And yes I know a Cayenne is the worst Porsche you can buy.

My friend sold their Tesla to buy Porsche Taycan, it was in the shop half of the time they owned it.  They just went back to a Tesla.

Is there a chance you like El Camino's???

I'm taking a Wild guess!

:bag:

:lmao:
Corvairs actually. The other flat 6 rear engine vehicles

And yes, El Caminos too
