$92k in receipts

He could use some commas in his CL advert., AND EVERYTHING IS IN CAPS.

Only "Boo-boo Heads" do dat.

I can't read the top half of the ad....the part in CAPS

That guy is an idiot. Both his financial choices and his CAPITALS, spelling, punctuations, etc…

Geez, good luck on selling that thing. You need someone as dumb as he is to buy it from him.

It looks cool though.

Wasn't someone on FB boasting about how he got 90k for his RZR? People sure have a lot more money than me that's for sure.

Ha just because they spend it doesn’t mean they have it.

You dont need 90k to have fun in a SxS unless you have a bottomless wallet and nothing better to spend it on. I have a "lower end" sand car and an X3 with a few "cheaper" upgrades and that's all you need for fun in the desert, or when the car is out of commission from the dunes. Definitely prefer the Sand Limo in the sand though. To each their own, it's their $$$.

I just do not see the value,  I would be surprised to see it sell for over 80K
Well since he's asking $60k, yore definitely right.  I see people bashing the seller in this thread, but I don't see where any of you are getting that the seller didn't have the $$ for it.  Ad simply says he's got $92k into it.

For many of us, this is just stupid  as one can get a really nice Sand Car / Pre Runner for that and it's possible he's over leveraged, but maybe dude just liked building it (ie the labor).  Several here have done that with various projects over the years . . .

Cool build, lots of thought into it, it looks really clean, sharp.

I've seen folks that bolt on every item listed from a catalog and it looks like a yard sale even brand new.

It's funny to see Sand Car people mock this guy   on a clearly modified SXS for style and looks...He was smart to leave the motor, etc alone.

Question, does a windshield create a negitive inside the car and suck in all the dust as you drive fast?

Short answer, yes.

I used a full windshield in the sand but would take it off and use a half windscreen when I rode on hard pack. It helped keep the dust down somewhat with better air flow.

It is a nice looking SXS and he is not asking $92K for it.    This is no different than Bert's builds you see at the Sand Show for huge amounts of money.  After the Sand Show one of the builders had his show car for sale for $100K.

Sandcar people can justify a new $200K purchase of the sandcar that gets used for a few months out of the year in one spot, but don't see the value in a SXS you can use year round.

Windshields are nice if it is cold out.  When it heats up the cab areas get hot and you get no airflow with a windshield.  Plus in the dunes visibility is reduced with a windshield.

To each their own...

A lot of guys on here have more money than they know what to do with so they push the envelope on the build and they enjoy it.

I'm sure most of them lose money on it, but then they do it again and have fun at it.

There are the few occasions where someone will see it and HAVE TO HAVE IT and will pay for the right now Price.

Like I said...to each their own!

Nice build...not my cup of tea.

:dbart:

I'm all about function over looks. Everthy that an upgrade function wise is cool,.. the rest is just waste for bling IMO

Dude paid full pop for every item he put on that Can Am.   Stuff adds up quickly when it has Tatum stamped on it or HCR.  All that money spent and I don't see a GPS or Switchpro.

Nice looking car.
looks like a huge Lowrance in front of the steering wheel.

I saw that after I posted, but could not edit it.
