So working on my boat project and it's come time to anti up for this hosing.....

I did a quick build on anfittings.com and it was over $800.
Then went to redhorseperformance and it was $450

It's not really about the price, but I need two systems Oil and Fuel so I'm doing different colors and hose so it looks good and different. All black is fine too...

Fuel system (easy) SILVER connections preferred, Blue hose
12FT of -8 PushLoc hose
Six  -8 female straight to PushLoc -8 hose

Oil (many ins and out from block to bypass to cooler to filter) black on black
12FT of -8 PushLoc hose
One -8 180deg to PushLoc -8 hose
Four 1/2"MIP to -8 male
Seven 3/8"MIP to -8 male
Four -8 female to Pushlock -8 hose
Six -8 female straight to PushLoc -8 hose
One -8 45deg to PushLoc -8 hose

I used RedHorse on a lot of stuff on my Chevelle & had pretty good luck @ first & then had issues with what I thought was quality problems (my "buddy" that I bought them through did not agree with me, but he started selling a house brand of fittings made in China & they are, IMO, total Crap.  My point is a lost a lot of respect for his opinion @ that point).

My buggy had a lot of Phenix fittings on it, so I started using them for a bunch of stuff.  Ive had VERY good experiences with them.  they just keep doing a bang up job on everything.  https://phenixindustries.com/products/

they just moved their manufacturing & distribution to Henderson, NV.  They shut down & started back up essentially over a weekend.  Im a big fan.

Another vote for G&J in Ontario. Never had an issue with their products.

Thanks forgot about them, started my cart and bam sold out of most of what I need/want.

Thanks guys for the G&J, I'll try to get a quote sheet for them. I'm in Bakersfield

more suggestions?
fragola, Erles, etc...

Did prices on anfittings.com go way up? Been over a year since I've bought from them but I replumbed my entire fuel system with PTFE hose/fittings and it was around $200. Did two more cars for clients around that same time and they were about $250 each in parts.

Looking at your list $800 seems really high.

I’m giving Racetronix a shot. Prices seem more in line with what LRS said, vs $800.

That's why I'm asking. I don't buy these often but was kinda floored at the money. Some fittings are $8-10 ea but the hose is $5-15 a foot

Let me know what you think of the Racetronix stuff. Need to re-plumb my Albins trans pump so looking to get new hoses and fitting soon. I was skeptical about the anfittings.com so I tried them on my car before any clients cars. Been two seasons so far and other then the black fading a little to a copper color the hoses and fittings don't leak.

xrp and fragola are all i use. expensive, but very nice fittings made in usa.

the fuel lines I'm definitely looking at the ratings due to our ethanol blended fuels, not e85 persay but I've read reviews of some that are failing

I can tell you as of now the racetronix web site if stupid slow and not well built...

People will hate me for this  - but the China crap is NOT worth your life - cheap fitting crack and leak. If you perfectly support them to stop load and vibration you may get lucky, but for Fuel I only use American Made  - thats Earls or XRP, both From Tom at anplumbing.com  Its not cheap but they are the last fittings you will have to buy.

I have posted the Tim Mcannis Rant on GD before and he still is right  ..

I will not use Push lock on any pressure side fuel  as fuels today will cause them to fail, in fact anything new I do is 100% PTFE its the only thing that stands up to E85 and you will not have to replace it in 3 years  It will give you sticker shock, but The fuel today eats the hose from the inside - you start seeing little black rubber balls in the fuel filter and by the next fuel filter cleaning the Hose looks like sprinkler.  If you buy the anfittings.com PTFE the hose while grafite'd for static resistance but its hard to route and kinks alot. It only works with there fittings and China to English conversion makes the inner diameter of the hose 30% smaller than the US equivalent  so basically their -8 and closer to a US -6.  -Early on I used them and they were getting fittings from Taiwan  - not any more,  and now  the fittings are so poorly anodized (Not hard anodized)  E85 will eat them in a couple years, I have replace cracked one too - that stuff is straight out of China.  Its a complete copy of Fragola stuff, which is US made, but expensive and old tech compared to earls or XRP I won't use it anymore.

I recently did my 3rd car in the latest XRP Kevlar Pro hose - A small bag of fittings and a few feet of hose was over $1000 but it went on a $150K sand car with all Aeromotive parts that cost a lot on their own and its easy to cut and assemble and they stand behind it 100%  ...On that car it was a must, that the guy puts his kids in the car--  If you ever saw a fire in sand car - it ain't pretty  ask LRS

If you are leaning toward cheap AN fittings and Hose because you can't afford good stuff, then go buy Brass barbed fittings or hydraulic steel fittings, some Goodyear EFI hose and hose clamps or safety wire (which I use on push lock) its Far safer.... IMO

I ran E85 all last season on my anfittings.com PTFE hoses and fittings and had zero issues. I think I burned 300 gallons.

Stuff should be here on Monday. I'll let you know how it goes together.

Phenix, made in NV.
I am pretty sure they are labeled, packed and Distributed in NV - No CNC's or anodizing in their shop - I would bet they are made in China. Most are made same factory that makes Jegs, Summit, Redhorse and a few others. You can buy them for 1/2 the price on ebay, its all the same crap IMO.   Anplumbing has a bunch of those fittings cut open so you can see the thickness of the tube and quality of the aluminum.

Its like engine parts to me. You can buy Speedmaster  and ProComp pretty cheap, but most people know to go brand names like Manley, Lunati, and others  and they cost 2x as much

@Fullthrottleguy I 100% agree and do not plan to buy the cheap china stuff. Just trying to find what I need and it be available is difficult.

We regrouped last night and here is what I'm after today. I should be able to find this today even if it's from two different suppliers.
Figuring out all the terminology and fitting adapters needed was part of my hickup (the internet won yesterday).

Fuel - ethanol rated
15ft of -8 hose and not pushloc
two 1/2" MIP to -8 adapters
six -8 hose ends straights

Oil
15ft -8 hose and not pushloc
seven 3/8MIP to -8 adapters
two 1/2"MIP to -8 adapters
five -8 90deg hose ends
one -8 45deg hose end
one -8 120-150deg hose end (whatever deg/color is in stock)
three -8 hose ends straights

I think this will be easy to find and not outa my $ budget
