Wife and I just talked about hitting Pine Hills again.  Did a big ride with 70s years ago.  Fun but didn't prep for the cold.

Thats “bear valley” its right at the i-8/pine valley exit. It used to hook up with trails from corral canyon ohv area and various other trails, but thats too much fun so they put up locked gates. The local forest service cops are complete aholes so make sure you and your bike are legit
