I loved bringing a couch, kept my pallets from flying out of the truck bed on the freeway.
And couches are great for Starting bon fires!

Iām old enough to remember when there were no fees! They told us when they started charging that it was to pay for improvements. Not my idea of improvement. Just made it easier for āI donāt give sittersā to get in and ruined it.By āfreeā do you mean taxpayer funded?
Itās been proven time and time again that being in close proximity to poor people causes azz cancer.
Yep, my first trip to Glamis was 1977. I remember the āgrand dealā where everything on the West side of the road (towards Mammoth Wash) was closed and we could have the dunes.Iām old enough to remember when there were no fees! This right here... it's the special use under the FLREA... and that use is OHV use, it is NOT entrance and it is NOT camping... it's illegal for the BLM to charge for those things without the prerequisite amenities... however the BLM is getting away with ENFORCING it via "primary" vehicle and enforcing it as an entrance/parking/camping fee.I'd like to know WHY my Veteran's park pass won't work in Glamis. It works everywhere else in the US. BUT...BLM and CA wrote a special clause...Glamis is "special use area" and passes don't cover that.
