21st Annual... THANKS!

If you happened to be in Glamis last weekend you hopefully had an opportunity to enjoy the 21st Annual Glamis Veterans Day Gathering Saturday and maybe even the flag run on Friday. There are tons of pics and vids online and we'll have some posted here. This event only happens with the blood, sweat, and tears of the 100% volunteer staff... Some plan for it a year out and some hopped on board in the last minute to fill a void or pitch in. All of the success of this event is due to these volunteers and any hiccups and shortcomings are my fault and I'll work on that for next year. In the meantime, there's a new flag and lighting watching over that valley and I hope to catch ya in the sand soon :cheers:
Thank you to each of the volunteers, to those that were able to attend, to those that we honored during the ceremony, to those have worn or currently wear the uniform, and to our sponsors that enable us to do what we do.

I can say, the closer you get to that box, that flag and those veterans, the tougher the job is. Honor and respect isn't easily given. These men and women received honor, respect, gratitude, a heart felt thank you for their service and sacrifice to this country and all of them knew it during and after this event. To be a part of that, for them, is difficult to describe in words. I am forever changed having the opportunity to shake their hands and thank them for their service. Each and every one of them.
Brian, thank you sir for this opportunity to help and serve with you on this great day and all the other support events in store.

My Hat is off to Hozay and the entire GV crew. Flag run was Friday and amazing to say the Least. i watched the videos of Saturday and heard the stories and all I can say is Great work to you all.. God Bless you all for what you do
