Clean 2005 trx90. I swapped in a pitsterpro 125gpx electric start motor. 22mm mikuni carb, pro circuit pipe, pro taper bars, wheel spacers, itp tires on nice alumn wheels. Comes with a set of paddles. The conversion is real clean. Not a hack job. Bike has about 3hrs ride time since the conversion. My son wants a ktm 65 now. This bike would be a blast in the dunes. Pulls real hard. we had it out this past weekend and it runs great and hauls ass. Tags current, title in hand in name

2500$ would trade for/towards Ktm/husky 50sx or 65

I was wondering where this build went when the site crashed. Glad to see it got completed.  Bet this thing just rips with that 125 motor.  GLWTS!

I'm interested, just got home from a week in the dunes and Ricky is over riding his 89 Lt80. All his friends have the Honda 90 with gears and he can't keep up even suspension wise. How many speeds is this? Do You still have the original Honda engine also? May have to come check this out one night this week after the BMX track.

Its a 4 speed

Surprised this machine didn't sell sooner.

Bitchen conversion...

Really wanna see this machine in the dirt/sand. Bet she just rips.

Looking to build one of these for a camp cruiser. Clean job on the swap! Did this have a clutch?
 No, this was semi auto.

@2turbofords still had it last i talked to him. I did have a build thread at one point.
the only two challenging parts are petcock/fuel pickup. Stock is in a horrible location. And i did modify the frame slightly for better starter clearance.

This quad is fast, my kid finally started shifting it on his own last trip out. On previous trips, he started riding it in 3rd gear right out of camp and it handled it no problem. Much faster out of the corners than his buddies on regular 90 Hondas. I added those rigid led cubes you included, and he rides at night sometimes now also.

I don't know if I have pictures anymore, but I had 2 of these that I built way back that I did a 300EX front end conversion, and then also modified a 300EX swingarm onto them, and then built custom shocks.. They were extremely fun, and actually had respectable travel as well.

This was my original plan was to redo the front susp geometry (trx90’s push real bad in corners gotta learn to slide the rear through a turn), but the kid wanted to go 2 wheels.
the gpx package was like 600$ i used tbolt key switch and on/off/start. All plug and play.
i’d be curious to see how it performs vs a 140

electric start is a lifesaver with kids!

With how cheap you can pick up a trx90 i dont understand why they havent caught on as pit bikes vs atc70s

stock trx90 is a cadillac compared To a atc70 in the handling and ergonomics.  With that 125 motor i could drift corners and had enough suspension stock to hit whoops. And im 6’ 200lbs
