2001 F-250 7.3 Cranks but wont start

I don't trust anything "OEM" on Amazon anymore.  For example, looking up that part number shows this packaging:

However, the Amazon ad itself:

Unless it's an online OEM Ford parts shop or in person, I don't trust it anymore.

I picked one up at Chula Vista Ford. I called and it was $44.00  Got there and guy only charged me $35.00. Bonus! Napa was $48.00.

I'll change it out tomorrow morning, I gotta get going to golf right now :classic_biggrin:

Looks like you are getting it taken care of, but cps is a common problem. Always check to see if the tack bounces when your truck won't start and you know exactly where to start. Must be a oem ford sensor like sausage450r said. Good luck, and sorry to hear about your raptor, that truck was slick!
On a side note.....any luck on that compactor?

Darn that amazon!!

Might be worth grabbing a rag and can of penatrating lube or WD. Let the bolt loosen up overnight. I think its pretty close to the belt and a rag can help with overspray.

I remember using a breaker bar to get up in there and pop it loose.

Another vote for CPS.

Mine was changed at the dealer 18 years ago. I believe it was a recall at the time and in for other service.
