2 Seat Sand Limo 2.5L turbo subie

what size do you recommend? I think I have a 10-12 gal tank now but I'll verify once I get the car back from John.
You'll sweat it on trips down to Duner Diner if you also want to dune a bunch.  What really determines fuel tank size is what everyone else has.  a Scoobie on E85 uses about the same amount of fuel as an LS on 91 does, so if they're also running 10-12 gallon tanks, no big deal (or a really big deal since you're all gonna walk).

My 2 seat Squirt with a 3.5 Honda on 91 (non turbo) used about 3-4 gallons per 24 mile run. In comparison other LS powered 4 seat cars used much more.

If you are going E85, you will burn about double what you would in pump gas or race gas

Congrats on the new car man!  you used to have a DD or a buggy works right?   You're going to love the sand limo.  When's the first trip?

thanks man! yes I had a 4 seat DD with a 3.2 Honda and 091 and a couple king sand cars. I'm really pumped to get this car in the sand. Im getting the car back from John tomorrow and then off to the sand early Sat morning for a day run to work out any issues before thanksgiving weekend.

This was my buddy chads car, it s got a signature marker light on the nose!  I added those cubes on the bumper a few seasons ago, this car rips I have duned with it before. Enjoy your new ride and congrats!
Its a cool little car. It was running really rough when I got it but hopefully after I get it back from John at outfront motorsports it will be ready to rip!

Got the car out in the sand! It’s a blast to drive! I would like power steering. Who has the connection on the electric power steering?

…forgot to mention that I had some issues shifting. At first I was able to shift from 1st to 2nd no issues on the first run around wash 3 and the small dunes around there. On the way back to camp, I  noticed that when I would try to shift into 2nd I would get a grinding sound (almost like it was trying to go into reverse). I let the rpm’s run down ,pushed the clutch all the way in and was able to slowly shift into second. Got back to camp and took a look at the shift linkage from the shifter to trans…see attached videos. Looks questionable to me. After messing with the linkage I had trouble getting into first and into the trailer. Even worse when I got home and tried to get into the garage. Let me know what you guys think.

My car had that kind of linkage/connection at the trans end when I bought it and it had shifting problems. The shifter also had some slop which I am sure accounted for most of the problem.

I didn’t want to spend the money on a Pro Am shifter and two u-joints, but I did and now it shifts easy without any problems.
