I’m freaking up some shocks for my neighbor and This one has me stumped. Front set of 2” Fox IFP shocks for a Ram 2500.

No rubber to pierce anywhere. The shock stud does have an Allen head but I marked it and hit it with an impact and noting moved. Add some heat to loosen the loctite? But heat and a pressurized Shock don’t mix well.

I did rebuild the rear shocks since they had a hole in the eyelet for the long needle.

Any tips?

I stopped by a shop this morning and they say to use heat to loosen loctite and the stud will come off to reveal a rubber pierce plug inside. Ill find out this evening.

Thanks for everyone's help. 🙃
