Saw an interesting story on Yahoo tuther day (a liberal rag if there ever was one).  There was a gathering in Providence or Provincetown (the San Francisco of the east, (why we have gay marriage)).

900 people got COVID at the gathering....3/4 of em were Vaxed.  You can believe Yahoo, sometimes, unless the number was higher.

 
The Machine needs to feed the Machine. You can't let all this past years COVID-19 funding come to an end, so justify why it needs to continue.

 
I think the other things happening because of covid are the real agenda and covid and the vaccine are just the distraction

 
The medic on our job had to be sent home last night for coming up positive even after having 2 rounds of vaccines.

I have not seen anything that says when you are Vaxed you won't get the Virus.  Now I have seen numbers like hospitalizations for the the Virus is 95% of them are unvaxed.  But who knows, I don't trust any news outlets, let alone the CDC anymore. Love all the sheeples on both sides

So why the hard push for vaccination if it doesn’t prevent you from getting the virus? If it’s because you “potentially” won’t get as sick…are those proven facts? If it’s just a form of a “flu shot” than leave it at that,personal choice. I’ve never had a flu shot. Not starting a debate,just curious.

It is supposed to keep you out of the Hospital.  People need to stop reading the headlines of these articles and deep dive into the details.  Nothing is proven at this point on either side.  You can still get the flu after you get the flu shot, that is proven for sure.

I read an article on the internet (which we all know has to be true), that many of these so called vaxed people getting the virus are actually using fake vax cards 🤔

I know several people that were involved in giving COVID vaccines, they said there was a lot of fake card distribution going on. That's why the cards don't hold any weight any more, it's all electronically recorded now. I work for the State and we were required to prove vaccination status through the CalVax website, cards don't count.

Wife works in healthcare and recently had a family member ask if she would give him a card, of course she said no.

Its all about the "benjamins"...  AND heaven forbid a politician has to admit they were wrong...

 
My theory is that it's about the upcoming elections and keeping the same voting procedures put in place for the 2020 elections due to Covid. It worked out well for them last time and the Dems stand to lose the house and the senate if they don't take advantage of a crisis that they created.

H.R.1, the "For The Democrats Act", oops, I mean "For The People Act", will never pass both chambers, so just create a workaround.

So is it really keeping people out of the hospital? I’ve recently been around the world (unvaccinated) and around people who have tested positive..so I guess my days are numbered if and when I get it. I felt like I have already had it before it every hit here in 2019.

Here is what I KNOW, Far East countries are starting to close back up due to the virus.  We are also seeing more closures in Central America, all countries that haven't really vaccinated.  Get ready for more shortages again.  I also know that most people that aren't vaccinated that are getting the virus are more likely to be hospitalized, at least according the numbers.  Deaths are down because most people over 60 years of age are vaccinated.

That being said, I could care less if anyone gets vaccinated, same as I could care less if you wear a helmet in a SxS, your life...............I am pro choice on just about everything.  I just don't like wearing a mask, it fogs up my glasses.

 
Just read a friend who has it now for the 2nd time.

First time he said he didn't even now he was sick until he couldn't stop coughing for 3 days.  Besides not being able to sleep during that time and his throat and stomach hurting from this dry cough that just wouldn't stop he wasn't that bad off. After almost 2 weeks his cough was down to a point where he felt ok to be out in public even though he got a clear test result in about 5 days. 

Then his age group came up and he decided to get the shot just to be in the clear and to give himself a little more chance to miss out in going thru that again.

Now two months have passed sense the vaccine and he has it again.  This time no cough but he say's it is the worst flue he has ever had and no matter how little or much or what he eats he spends most of his miserable waking hours sitting on the toilet.  He says if the cough comes back he knows he will die this time he doesn't have the strength to cough being that now going on day 6 he hasn't been able to keep in a ice cube for more than an hour.

 
MWB I hope your friend kicks that bug. 
 

So the only consistent take from this is inconsistent. Seems like there is no set pattern. My 80 year old day thats had 2-quadruple bypass surgeries got it and hopefully it prevents him from to the hospital if he gets it (but it sounds like there is no guarantee).That being said still doesn’t make sense to get vac just because a group tells you to. If it was like measles,smallpox,etc vac where it is a “one and done”deal I think I’d take it more seriously. 

 
My MIL go Covid last Christmas, she is 76 year old strong as an ox.  She was walking 4 miles a day before so.  She gets Covid, she ends up in the Hospital for 5 weeks, barely survives.  5 weeks alone with zero visitors, painful.  Fast forward, her doctors told her she needed to get the vaccine, and she has.  No side effects or anything.  But she can't get on a plane or go camping at altitude yet, doctors orders.  Her Lungs are damaged.  It is scary how it affects different people.

I had a couple bouts with Pneumonia in 2019 (heck maybe Covid), not being able to lay down because you can't breath or stop coughing was scary.  That feeling of not being able to take the next breath gave me serious anxiety................I hope I never have that feeling again.
