I like to use the ec3 or an xt-90 for higher amperage smaller stuff you aren't worried about being water proof. for heavier duty stuff HDP line from Deutsch has a few options.

I do not see any reason to not add these. With the entirety of the back of that car welded together you would likely be able to eliminate this tube all together and still net the same rigidity. A lot of the DD cars i have run into have had the uglier flange version of this done without any issues.

havent has any issues with my cbr in the sand car or my old prerunner.
