Kawasaki released the Teryx 4 H2 today! 250HP

I wonder how sophisticated the ECM is? Can it store an RPM trace? If the belt literally snapped at WOT the rev limiter may not be able to prevent a serious over-rev?? Just spitballing.

Kawasaki released the Teryx 4 H2 today! 250HP

I don't spend enough time on the KRX forum to give a number, but my guess would be people running them harder. A common complaint was the primary getting "notchy", and acting like it was stepping through the ratios, instead of smoothly shifting. I know that Steve guy has done hundreds of KRX...

Much too fast, tower wear, sheaves wearing rapidly, weight failures, etc.

Well aware of STM maintenance/wear. The KRX clutch issues are not related to the wet clutch, BTW, it's primary wear, and weight failures, etc. The Ridge doesn't have the wet clutch either, and people are moaning about the clutching. The primary and secondary are very much alike. Looking forward...

Kawasaki released the Teryx 4 H2 today! 250HP

According to Steve's initial inspection, the only significant difference is the idle bearing in the primary. FIRST LOOK New H2 primary and secondary clutches.. We have the new H2 clutches in house and disassembled… First of all the H2 does not have a wet clutch but a primary that runs...

Kawasaki released the Teryx 4 H2 today! 250HP

Kawasaki has always sucked at CVTs. That was my original concern. Time will tell. On Edit: On the KRX Forum, Steve Cornell has been overcoming clutch wear and performance problems on the KRX and the Ridge. He is now working on H2 solutions, as well, plus STM and others will be in the game, I'm...

When we went to Barstow for the dealer intro/demo of the Wildcat, it was a day after the press intro and there were a few wadded up cars behind the transporter. One genius had highmarked a hill, and stopped right at the apex for a photo op... DOH!

I love grits, but Waffle House knows how to make them, and CB not so much.

Wow Cracker Barrel is taking in the shorts....

Last few time we went to Cracker Barrel the food was pretty lousy. They used to have great biscuits, but these were gas station grade hockey pucks, at best.

Over the last few years the food became sub-Denny's. Waffle House FTW!!

They were already on the ropes, and the new CEO promotes the alphabet deviant lifestyle. Eliminating the old cracker leaning on the barrel is just the icing on the cake.

If the charger is gear driven it won't be a pulley change situation. On the Ninja, I read that it's even a two-speed planetary gear drive. No idea if the SxS is the same.
