Found my stash of Sand Sports mags (was given to me 10 or 12 years ago). I thought some of you might enjoy what was happening back then. 

Recupersting (not really) from a quad ride in the dunes yesterday. Went to visit an old friend. My 1st time out in 3 years and first time on a quad in 4 or 5. Just a quick turnaround day trip. I rode his backup machine. Thankfully the dunes were blown pretty damn clean so it was smooth riding...

We rented a Razor in Sedona last weekend so I got more seat time then just the couple short drives I've had in the past. They said 15 mph max speed :classic_laugh: . I thought he said 50!

One of my fishing buddy's that is also bigtime into off-road racing (BSB Offroad) was in a bad accident on his way to work last Monday morning. He is still in a medically induced coma as they try to get him to breath on his own and get the brain swelling down some. We are all really hoping for...

Might be getting back in the game but not at these stupid prices. Not sure If I'll do a buggy or SxS but if I do the wife is talking 4 seater this time. Anyways, I'll need something to haul a toy around and was thinking it may be cost effective to build my own flatbed in my spare time...

I'm out........for now. Once the recession crashes I'll be more inclined to head back out. Might try to sneak out for a couple days sometime this year and be someone's passenger.
