Currently using an Airraid filter but after this last trip (5 days) it’s collapsing in a couple of areas. Anyone have luck with a different brand?

I have OTR filters on my car, they seem to work well and are easy to clean.

Where did you buy them from? I found one I want but I don’t see it for sale online anywhere.

R2C were tried and discussed a long time ago.
If I remember right, the consensus was not good and let sand thru.

my intake pipe is 3.5” and walker does not offer an off road filter with that ID. I went with a filter from HPS as it’s identical to my current filter. In the off season I will go to a 4” pipe instead.

Donaldson, built for turbos in heavy dust.

Rated for ~350whp each. I got 4 seasons out of a $40 filter. No restriction, no dust, just figured it was time.

Yep. If you replace every season, not terrible. Beyond that, dusty intakes.

If that Donaldson is the one I think it is then it has the provision for an inner filter element also. So, you can maintain the outer/main filter element by blowing it out with air and not have to worry about damaging it. Also, you can put a debris filter on the inlet of that housing.

Correctamundo, but it's a single layer coarse filter, so I'd still be worried. It's supposed to change color with dust intrusion.

At $40-50 for a replacement, I'm just gonna replace every other year and not risk it.

My experience is that the OTR is a considerably better filter than the R2C was. Better seals and IMO filter media. They say they are the same as R2C but I did get some dust inside the R2C filter and have not had that experience with the OTR. The outerwear type sleeve also fits very well unlike the ones that R2C offered.
The cleaning has to be done carefully with low air pressure from the inside only. Tap all the trapped dust/silt out as thoroughly as you can followed with careful use of air. I hold air nozzle at least 8" from media. My .02
