Summer Upgrade to the SU

of course. I went through Dave Folts Transmission and it was roughly 4600. It has made all the difference in driving. Previously I could only dune in 3rd and 4th and even going up olds I would be in 4th and hitting the rev limiter about 3/4 of the way up. Now it cruises in 2nd and 3rd all day plus going up the hills I am in 3rd at 5K RPM when I reach the top.
Damn you must go fast!!!!!

Don't know what kind of top end you wish, but my 2d had a 1.36 4th gear and I loved it. Now this was strictly a dune car.
Interesting. My current trans (091) has a 1.44 4th gear with a j35A4 n/a and I'm not liking it that much. It tops out too soon and it's limiting my top speed. Of course I could just rev it more, but I'm pretty conservative with the rpms. Maybe I should just get over that. haha

@ChasingSand what 3rd and 4th gear ratios did you switch from and to? Thanks.

The rev limiter is around 6400. The fun does really begin until 3500ish.

Current update from SU. They are locking up the new arms to accept the King 10” coil and bypass. They are having to move the upper mounts 2” up. I don’t like the look of them sticking above the hood so Ramone suggested to redo the whole upper part of the front of the car including the bar that holds the steering shaft. A new dash and hood will cover it all and plus a wing is being added as well. So glad I chose to work with Ed and his crew on this.
