It's Saturday March 8th 2025.. What is everyone doing this weekend?

That's the problem. Never make plans. Yesterday my neighbor stopped by.
He was hardly able to stand, mumbled something and sat down in my recliner.
After a bit of sleep, I drove him to his house 4 doors down.
I ended up taking him to the ER.
He had experienced a diabetic event, fell asleep driving and wrecked his car.
He had lost his phone in the wreck, and I called his mother and atty for him.
The ER was to call me if he needed ride home, but so far, (5am today) nothing.
I updated his mother after I returned home late last night.
I'll follow up today with his mother and the ER.
I've known him since he was 10. (55 now)

Edit to add:
He returned to his house 3 am, and hit the bed hard. I called his mother
to find out any updates and found this out. He didn't want to call me as I had helped
him out already. I tried to see if he was okay, but he was asleep hard.
Around noon Saturday he was up. I drove him over to the Sheriffs office
(Imperial x Normandy)to attempt to find the tow yard for his car.
Many phone calls to discover the yard is closed weekends.
Next stop was the CVS for medicine.
Now, it's late Saturday and time for a meal. The favorite is "The Burnt Tortilla"
and we chow down. I drop him off at his house, he hits the bed hard again.
Today, more adventures, try to buy a car.

Shifting to the next phase on my car. So, clean up the garage a bit and reset. Go over the engine and make sure everything is tight and clamp hoses. I need to chase on the threads on my rear suspension links and install the new heims. Maybe get to installing the rear suspension.

Honey do’s are always first on Saturday so just put the sliding organizers in the pantry. Just got 6 done and my wife has just informed me she ordered 8 more!

Worked on the sand rail for a bit and then gave up because I couldn’t get it into reverse. Tomorrow’s another day.
Went to a birthday party for someone that’s actually older than me.

Rode from Key West to St. Petersburg. Had a good dinner. Buddy came down with a fever and trying to decide if he wants to continue on. He's talking about shipping bike home and flying. 20250308_184528.jpg

Ate free donuts and drank coffee at an Estate, Trust and Retirement seminar.

Made a trip to the Mothership COSTCO and stopped by a Dealership to compare some vehicles we are considering.

Made a day trip to Ocotillo Wells. Dirt was absolutely amazing, it must have rained out there late in the week.
Also, there were tons of camps, people having a great time. It’s fun to make trips other than Glamis. So many destinations in so cal and Az.

ADHD wins again!

Cleaned the garage and reset for the next phase of the car. The plan was to focus on the car ....THEN...I decided to clean my boat and put a train horn on it. Now I've been going over the boat and making sure it's ready for season. I'll get back to the car this week.
