If you bond your alternator to your block you should also bond the block to the transaxle and the transaxle to the frame. You should do this even if you choose not to bond the alternator.

Your relays are failing because they are rated for 20 amps continuous duty.

Those 16” fans draw 42 Amps each at 12 volts. What size relay are you using. If you are using a thermostat than your lower hose temperature should be equal to or less than the stat rating.
