IMO, every car will benefit from one.
Funco is known for sliding and staying flat in turns, and they have sway bars as you stated.
Doesn't that tell you something?
Engine off, put it in gear, push the clutch in, have someone try and roll the car.
Adjust the stop to where the car will just start to roll while in gear.
Slave I do 3/8" free play.
For a new build and minor cost increase, I would say yes.
In my case, a retro fit, I would have had to REALLY cut my car up to get it to fit.
So I went with the S4.
But fair question/point.
Should be able to use either of the Albins TO bearings.
Depends on which clutch you are using if you need flat faced or convex.
I would think the flat face if you are using a Kennedy Clutch. PN WDLSC00170A
Call McMullen and verify.
S4D is only bigger in R&P and bell housing section.
Both S4D and S4 use same gear stack, case, front mount etc.
But I agree, can mess with CV angle etc.
