    My 2006 Wuerth Motorsports Build

Great work! Love to see it. Huge fan of these cars, and came really close to buying one last summer. I love how small lightweight they are for a 4 seat chassis. Cool to see the mods coming along, and done well. Keep up the great work!

It's Saturday Feb 15th 2025..What is everyone doing this weekend?

A little late to the game, but these are always fun. Started the day with a quick photo shoot of the Sand flea Mazzone. Then Comp cut all four tires for a Yamaha YXZ. Then got creative for the Haul home to Transport, some machines.

    Dune Videos

Thank you for sharing this. a couple years ago I was searching all over for this video and couldnt find it. there is a guy up here local to Utah that owns one. I spent a weekend with him out at little sahara, really nice guy. Most the people around had no idea what car it was or had never heard...

Sand Car Prices - New and Refresh

Im with you on this. Im still no where close to finishing my car. and ill just say that to the point that im at right now in costs, I could have(maybe should have) bought a Gen 4 Funco with an S4 and matching power........ Which is eating me alive at the moment. and whats mind boggling is that...

    Dune Videos

Just picked up another Mazzone. This one is as clean as they come. This one was lengthened to 113" Wheelbase for the taller drivers. Im 5'9" and I fit with plenty of head room as opposed to my recent Mazzones Ive owned. This dune run is mainly 4th gear low RPM. This was the first dune run with...

    Driving tips- ls1/s4

For most of these motors, 4k rpm is where its making good power. 3k-5k is where the power is made on most V8s, kind of like a power band on a 2-stroke. you want to stay in the powerband, for multiple reasons. the biggest is you need the power to be there when you need it most. As my Dad taught...

    Driving tips- ls1/s4

Will you be out for presidents day weekend? I am happy to go out with you and give some pointers. I have helped many people improve their duning and take it to the next level, as well as have driven a huge selection of sandcars. no more than 20-30 minutes and you shouldnt have an issue anymore...

    Gen 4 Update

I will add to that of having Karl do your shocks. @Grease Monkey - great call out. you have the looks, now let Karl update the ride. Sean brown is another guy you can ask for on opinion. He had his Gen 4 and Gen 6, both cars improved in dune speed drastically. Ive spent some time with Karl and...

    Paddle Tire Choice - Stock Honda 3.5 - Small 2 Seat - 2D

you actually have some great options. The 32 Leed Screw up front would be an awesome tire, and better then you would imagine if you go mid engine.... I drove a Colorado Sandcar 2 seater (rear engine) and a Long travel Mazzone 2 seater that had the 32 leed screw and it worked way better then...

    Help needed evaluating sand rail

This really is some of the best advice so far. Not only will you cast a wide net on that page but there is some great knowledge on that page as well and its not uncommon for someone to chime in on it that knows more about that car personally. Also, being an N/A LS motor with what assumptions...

    Dune Videos

Johns a great time to be around and a blast to drive with. Excited to get another car that can keep up at that level of driving again. Currently have a Mid Travel Mazzone thats made for a great "filler" car. Its one I dont plan on selling but I definitely cant stomach putting it through that...
