To Every Man who ever took the lead, filled the part of the male role model for anyone...Happy Father's Day.

You see not all Fathers have children.

They have people in their lives either directly or indirectly, they have influenced, provided protection, given guidance and maybe just simply a little security in this crazy world when it was needed.

I see men as the lighthouse in the storm.

Life, society and everything else as the water that shifts, swirls and sets people off course. Be an example, set a standard.

If you were consistent, reliable and available for another person, to help direct them...you are by my opinion a "Father figure".

This day is for you as well.

Happy Father's day to you all, here in the brotherhood 💙

Share a story, a moment heart-warming or funny where you were a Father-figure, or just something from your own children.

Here is a chance to share...

Happy Father's Day Y'ALL! Well said @Crusty.
I learned just recently I am a Father Figure to one guy. He's the person building my Golf Course in chEFF's Dream Home back yard. We go to lunch frequently. Wants me to Mentor him in business. He shared a story about his father who passed away when he was very young. He hasn't had a Father Figure in his life. He said since day one he met me, he knew deep inside I was that guy. I had no idea. Pretty cool. Peace

Happy Father’s Day to you all… and most definitely the guy that started this thread… Scott Anderson. There isn’t a better example than this Man.

To those of you that take this job/opportunity seriously and put in everything you have… EVERY DAY…THANK YOU!

Happy Father’s Day
What an amazing privilege to be a Father, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather also to the young men I have been able to be a mentor in their lives. Enjoy your day Dad’s

Well I had breakfast in bed, cards, gift cards to my favorite eating place-sizzlers. New motorcycle boots for my tentative ride in the Himalayas next summer. 6 healthy kids, soon to be 14 happy grandkids. Crusty your post is right on. May you Fathers be blessed for your tireless actions

My buddy was a step dad that stepped up. When his daughter was getting married, her real dad showed up expecting to walk her down the aisle. He was all chipper and a real douche bag. She said your not walking me, he is, he was there all the times you weren't.
So I wish him a happy fathers day every year, because he stepped up

My father ran off with a younger twit, and the "Step Fathers" that followed were all assholes.
I'm surprised I survived. Butt, I'm still here.

It was a good day, saw my parents, took them to breakfast and church, what a madhouse all places where to eat, even at 9am. We ended up at a Diner called Tom's in Downtown Chino, was pretty damn good, for a burger/breakfast place...it was perfect to eat, enjoy coffee, etc.

Church had a great message, new place we have been going to last couple moths, trying to get planted again.

Message was that there are great Fathers (Leaders) who were not actually "great people".

Noah was a drunk, Moses a murderer, David adultery, Peter persecuted his own, Paul a violent Pharisee and on and on...

The Bible is famously filled with deeply flawed figures. Rather than portraying them as flawless, it highlights how God worked through ordinary, broken people to accomplish extraordinary things.

Some of my biggest heroes, were broken men who kept going, never gave up, even if they died unsuccessful in their lifetime.

Sometimes the BEST example, is what NOT to be.

Well said @Crusty
I always tell my Real Good Friend that "EYE" raised his kids. Ever since they were real young, we'd be at the Motocross Track / Glamis / Sporting Events ETC....... He always told his kids, watch chEFF. You don't want to be like him. They turned out great. They always laugh about those days. Tell that story to all their friends too. Peace

I wasn’t much of a father figure to my son and daughter with the first wife, being a cheating husband and heavy drug addict. Several years later my son and I made amends while we were both at Glamis with different groups. Daughter is still under mother’s control.

The two grandkids call me the motor whisper as I’ve been able to fix all are bikes while at Glamis get togethers.

Nothing beats all the other families and friends I have at Glamis.
