Introducing the MidnightAce Sand/dual sport car!

GLAMIS WEATHER
I have seen this car in person and the build process. This car is built with Precision from the table up. The table is completely malleable and in the solid works computer program. Even the jig fixtures that hold the tubes were created by the computer program . Every single tube and peace of steel will be exact from Car to Car. Every tube will be bent, notched, marked exactly the same on every single car. I would venture to say this is the squarest car on the market. The triangulation and thought that went into this car is second to none. From the boxed front and rear Arms, to the bulkhead, to the plate work this car is a work of art.

Seth has been building and working on cars for a lifetime. The craftsmanship and quality from both Midnight oil and ace craft Is seriously impressive.. This car is built, stout with quality components I cannot wait to see it ripping Glamis! I’m lucky enough to know the owner of car number one hopefully he lets me drive it!

Great job on this build

Thank you! Was awesome having you at the shop! We love what we do and we are excited to produce this product! We will not compromise on the quality, strength, or performance! The attention to detail on #1 , I truly believe shows…. And the next couple will only get better (not sure how yet, but we will find a way)! Rear arms are being cut tomorrow, as with the front, this first set will be mock-up/transport arms, with the final 4130 sets to be produced while body is being crafted! The next couple weeks will bring sweat, tears, and joy… but this is what fuels us to provide what we truly believe to be one of the safest, best performing sand/dual sport cars available- especially for the price! Attention to detail will continue till completion with no compromise! Thank you all for the comments, support and interest!

I had a pretty good idea it was him when I saw the front end, true Seth art. Amplified was one of my favorite Builders in the 00's (local: Oceanside/Vista), was super bummed when Peter took over and I had to lean towards a Tom Pro Designs build that never happened. I've been pretty disenchanted with the Sand Car scene lately, this may bring me back in pretty heavy...

thank you for the support! haha, yes there are some similarities! There has been a lot learned in my last 26 years of racing, prepping and business. The partnership with Acecraft.pro has been amazing and has brought a huge amount of technology and capability! We are transforming an already great platform to a much higher level! I had the opportunity to completely rebuild an Amplified 2 seat last year, and that is what sparked the fire to release a re-design. This is the first of what's to come!

Car looks awesome, can't wait to see it with a body on it. I have always liked the style of your cars, this 2 seater is icing on the cake for me.

I really like the low profile flat roof. this thing is going to be sweet.
the dead pedal seems to be in a precarious place though does it wind up in line with the other pedals?

Thank you! I personally like the flatter roof on two seaters also....

the dead pedal actually feels very nice, and was fit to the customer.

Some back story….

Excited to announce a collaboration effort with AceCraft.Pro
to produce high quality sand and offroad cars! After 6 months of re-design
(of proven chassis) using the latest CAD software, we are now in production
of these CNC cut and bent machines. Countless hours have been spent
developing a package of components that are "standard stocking" items
available from vendors such as Kartek, Mckenzies and Race Ready. If
you choose to purchase a chassis and arm package, you will be given
a spreadsheet with part number/description for every part on this car.
This allows those who are home builders to assemble/build/prep this car
easily with readily available parts without needing machining or long special
orders.
Would you sell a cd of the cad drawing for a doit in my garage kinda guy? If not.. How much for the chassis?

Hey! Thanks for the interest! We will not be selling the CAD files.. we are currently working on "roller" and "Chassis/Arms" package pricing.. We Love the interest we are receiving on DIY builds. Even our Chassis/Arms package will be fully tabbed to assure quality/function of key components, while allowing exotic engine package needs to be completed by owner. We have spent countless hours engineering this around owner/builder/prepper friendly design with off-the-shelf components! Best thing to do is to reach out to me so we can discuss your exact needs/wants!

The registration will be responsibility of the owner.. Each state has its own requirements/policies.

Here in Cali, CHP installs and assigns the VIN. That’s the best way because the trans, frame, engine are all attached.

If I do not live in Cali you dont provide a vin, you rely on a homebuilt title and vin from them after the sale?

What other routes? last sand car the builder supplied the vin and title under their name (builder).

I can have a California VIN installed and Title for an additional fee.. Best to contact me to discuss.

I assume it would come with a Manufacturer Statement of Origin with a serial number at a minimum which you would take to your local titling official. It would likely be some type of Special Construction title at that point.
