Any big plans for this anniversary?

Our plans are to be in Catalina on the boat. Head over Thursday, get on the mooring. Get set up and chill. Fish a bit, run around the island on the skiff, get on the island and have a few cold beverages and get some walks in. Celebrate on the 4th and head home Sunday.

My In Laws have a timeshare at the Carlsbad Inn and Resort. We're there every year for the 4th. I'll be suffering here and at the Mexican food spot (Norte) next door for a few days...

No plans yet for the actual 4th, heading out for a couple weeks in the RV this Monday and return on the 3rd... so far it's looking like a chill weekend in the backyard and local fireworks for the 4th, first time in a while we'd be home. Directly following I have to head to the east coast for a week and a half and will be in DC the weekend after the 4th, plan to hit the 8 & I barracks for the silent drill team parade Friday night and spend that weekend partaking in whatever 250th shenanigans the Capital has to offer.

leaving AZ on the 3rd,driving to santa maria for the night, next day up the coast, cut over through holister heading to Galt to pick up new puppy. back to coalinga to harris ranch for a steak on the forth. back to AZ on sunday

The crazy weather guy from up north is saying a CHANCE of a tropical storm hitting for 4th of July....that would be awesome, but Mess up a lot of peoples plans....

Finally get back in the seat and will be based out of Van Nuys and Queen Mary heliports for Fri through Mon.

There are quite a few Catalina runs and So Cal coast tours.

I will try to make a couple skud runs aross the harbor and keep the seaguls off your boat!!!
