Grandparents had a 45-foot trawler that I was lucky enough to fish on throughout my life (up until age 30 or so) - many trips to Catalina, Conrado's, fishing tournaments for Marlin, Dorado, Tuna, etc. I think that's little me with my dad (or my brother) in the photo. Pipe dream is to own an ocean boat once I retire for a few years (early 60's), have a slip in San Diego, anchor in Catalina again, Mexico, up the coast to Alaska, etc.
