Gas is gonna get real expensive here.

Agreed, but our group boats. I almost always go through a full tank of gas for a day on the water, even in Parker.
But how many destinations do you go to???
I hear they are putting a Rope Swing at Topock bridge, there is an old Jet Ski memorial at Speed Alley going in, do you have a pic of your boat at the drags???

Boating is Havasu does not consume a lot of fuel as most park in the channel all day. Biggest expense is beer and batteries to run the stereo all day.
The family I've gone with has a 1995 Eliminator and we spent the whole weekend on the water for around $100 (similar gas prices to now). We ate at In n Out or the Mexican food place by the Bridge and none of us consume alcohol (although we did have one alcoholic with us, no drinking though)... so that cost is out the window. Our Havasu trips were very cheap and easy. It doesn't cost a lot to just boat around.

And yes, I saw the sarcasm. The Implants are pretty expensive, too!

The rope swing has been at Topock for as long as I can remember.

I go to Pirates, The Springs, Ghost mine, Topock, Sandbar, Speed Alley, Channel, plus we do a lot of finding coves, floating, just beach it wherever.

I put very few miles on my 2500…. Averaged 600 miles a month since I bought it 10/2024 so I’m not freaking out too much…. But I do have to fill up tomorrow and it’ll be the second fill up since these new prices. I feel bad for those that burn a lot of fuel. Praying there is resolution to the Iran deal soon for many reasons. I agree something big needed to be done to that regime out there, but let’s wrap this thing up!

I just rode my Harley across the country. I'm currently in Myrtle Beach SC. Regular unleaded is about $4.15 here. The best prices were New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma. Was averaging about $3.85 for unleaded. My buddy lives in Tenn and it's about the same as AZ. He was paying $2.85 when he moved there last year. It sucks because I feel that prices are here to stay. The war was just a BS excuse to get us all used to it.
