Does the power differ from standard to mobile?  600-2500 is a big difference

Yes, my buddy put the mobile on his and can see his auto gen start comes on more than it did before because of the power draw.

 
Bumping this:

Whats the deal with the mini and using it mobile. Plans to mount it on a vehicle and have access in the dunes. Plan options, costs, etc. I went to the site but confused on this use. I've heard the offroad race teams are doing this but I think its the large unit.

I have the mini, its small cost is 160 a month full roaming

PCI sells these kits. Maybe talk to them?
 
$50 for 100GB of high speed. $160 for unlimited. Works great, but it will absolutely kill a car battery surprisingly quickly. $5/month in between, but it does allow low speed internet/text/voice calls.
 
I will say, I slashed a tire deep in the dunes at 3pm on a Friday, buddy had Starlink on his SxS, fired it up and called kartek, had a replacement tire to the dunes by 9pm that night. One of our group was driving that way, was super convenient and nice t have perfect cell service. In camp, he just plugs it to a battery charger while the genny is running.
 
I keep mine in a backpack and pull it out when needed. For the razor I have the cigarette lighter adaptor. Unpack it, set it on roof, plug it in and 15 seconds later you have service.

Hows the vehicle battery life been while using.
