Any GM techs here ?

Having a problem with d/e voltage correlation .
Yes this is drive by wire related
Throttle body
Pedal
Terminals
Wiggle test
Ect
Done

Any ideas ? I am thinking it is my 5 volt ref signal is having a problem . Power or ground related ? Maybe a accessory is causing it ?

so DBW issues? most times it is caused by not having pedal stops........

if you are using a GM ECU/pedal, there are TWO 5 volt feeds and TWO sensor ground feeds. easy enough to measure at the pedal with a meter. it is not a linear pedal, so the signal voltage on the two sensor leads will not measure the same.

fought this a bunch with the 6100 race trucks (e67 ecu and pedal). all our problems went away when we installed a stop for the pedal, both WOT and closed throttle. in some cases we had to get a new pedal, but this was always due to the driver being very heavy footed. again......pedal stops.

dont know what ECU you are using but the GM e67 has dedicated pins for the 5 volt, sensor ground and signal wires. no other sensors use that wire/pin.

Its a gm lhu . Bosch controller .
I do mash the pedal . I will try stops with a new gm pedal assembly .
When u say closed throttle stop i assume that is a stop on the back travel of the pedal ?

correct. DBW will throw a fault code if the pedal is just slightly pushed beyond its travel, in either direction.

i go into safe sometimes with the throttle open during acceleration .
Different problem ?

not very familiar with your specific ECU, but there should be different codes for pedal vs the throttle.

have seen many DBW issues entirely caused by cheap ebay throttles our counterfeit throttles. make sure you buy a genuine OEM throttle AND OR pedal ONLY.

the ONLY aftermarket DBW throttle i will use is Nick Williams.
