I'm sure y'all wondering what's next.

I've been on this forum and all the socials for a long time. What I'm seeing is a dilution of information across all the socials. Which page do you go too to find info on the weather, the next event, the cleanup, the lost dog, the sand conditions, the Funco regatta, the Tatum regatta the MLK cleanup, the old school round up and on and on.
How many pages do you have to belong to and weed thru to get what your looking for?

At one time a long time ago, it was glamisdunes.com
I see the socials diluting this even more over time.
Where can you go to get all this info in ONE place.
I feel we are the answer. I am willing to take that step, get involved, be a part of the community as a whole. Will we be the rzr forum, can am forum, the gathering forum, the event forum?
What's stopping us.
This community was built on people and providing information and positive directions on Glamis and for Glamis.
Some call it mother glamis. Those that get it and those that dont are welcome.
It's up to us to help educate those that don't.
I can't do this in my own. This community, united can. It's has before and my faith says it will again.

We will use the social platform to drive membership. We will use the socials to educate and drive membership. We will use glamisdunes.com to bring a community together just as it did years ago from a wooden sign in highway 78.
If you don't believe me, watch me.

As a relatively new member and relatively young member (27) in the grand scheme of GD, the first thing I thought when I joined the site was that it is weirdly difficult to transverse the interface. With that said, you are speaking my language with simplifying, but also being a one stop shop. The million dollar question, how do we simplify the interface?

Maybe we can make a way so we can select which forum subsections we want to see, for example, I don’t particularly care to see food pages, chEFFs Lounge, or memes, but I love seeing tech, builds, truck, trailer and equipment related forums.

Is there a way to pick and choose which subsections we want to see or receive notifications for?

Yes and as history tends to repeat itself, so will this
format. I have been scouring the internet as well as years past gd. I fell in love with the site years before this, but in and around 2013, this site had a very manageable and sourceable format. Groups of sections. All on the main page. Scroll down the the group or section that interests you and dive in further. This will be one of my updates.
It was very welcoming and inviting. Easy to navigate and sourceable.
Not a copy and paste of them. It will be some work but that's another of many goals.

Appreciate your input.

You old fart. The OG logo is the logo. Will be the logo. The logo is the trademark. We may have lots of event designs and looks but the oval GD will always be present. It may just be the back of the hat, the bottom right of a tee shirt etc or the whole sweaty back.
I like the new look and plan to have other new cool designs but under my plan, the oval will always be there.
