Funco at auction

I may bid on this, the road and bridge department where it’s stored is roughly 10 blocks from my house, I may be able to help the winning bidder pick up the car from storage to my place.

"where my kids at? I roll hard thru the streets of the Cul de Sac...."

That's Hot.

At the start of this post the online bid was at $8500.00

With some excitement from bidders its up to $15000.00

6 days left on this auction.

The last few hours is where it will get interesting.

Where do you think the final bid/price will land?

Whats your cut off bail out price?

It has just met my cut off price and I am out.

My guess on final price is around 25K

That thing is pretty roached. I suspect there is some frame damage somewhere from inexperienced drivers bottoming the suspension. I think your $15K cutoff was a good move but it will be bought by someone who doesn't know what they are getting for far closer to your $25K mark.

Agreed.
Between the 2D not having reverse, the low hp H6 subi, the no bypass shocks, seats, belts, unfack all the ambulatory gear and other surprises, its met the threshold for market value after repairs.

Most likely. My buddy Nico sold this years ago for 25k. Wish I would have known, it would be in my garage…

If someone wants a project, and put $20k into it, could be worth close to $45K.....at least for what others are selling Gen 4 for right now.

This!
Guys, I’m a local and this thing was driven by anyone that was “on duty” and sometimes ended up with civilians towing it out. This is NOT a diamond in the rough.
Bid accordingly!

Will this be stored in the stable for your prized goats, or sheep?

That car needs a ton of work. Realistically needs 20-25k worth of work to make it nice.

Based upon the market its already over bid for the amount of work it needs.

Not sure what Gen 4's are selling for, but all of them are listed above $50k.

Probably needs to be torn down to frame if the person wants to keep it. A year of work and $25K you will have a really nice car.............no bidding above $17,5k.

Might be a deal for one who could do the work at 15k. But will need to make some good purchases of needed items and it may cut it close to actual value when done.

Big difference in cost of parts today vs 5 years ago
