Taco Bell or Del Taco

It seems to be the narrative, Del Taco is better..............Of course Naugles is better, but haven't seen one of those around in 30 plus years, I personally like Pup n Taco, their hot sauce was great............haha
Naugles made a comeback but its not as good as the old days. That's why the one in Stanton closed down.

Yeah, and years prior to Del Taco buying out Naugles, Pup n Taco was swallowed up by Taco Bell . . .

I'm happy to say I've never had Papa John's (or Little Cesar's) pizza.
Little Ceasars lunch special, 4 slice personal deep dish and a coke. $7

Their deep dish is the only choice from them that.

Do it once at lunch.

And yes, I'm a pizza snob.

I've had some of the best pizza in the world and I still like papa johns and costco pizza. Easy to please I guess.

I'll have to give it a try. I'm a pizza snob too. I get a pan crust Roundtable every Sunday during football season.

Think I'll stick to my guns on this one. I've also never in my life drank a Red Bull or a Monster. I've had a variety of Vodka / Red Bull shots placed in front of me from regulars at my local over the years, but would never order one for myself.

My pizza deal is at my other local. On Thursdays they have a $7 personal pizza deal. A while back they put a hot honey pizza (pepperoni, sausage, hot honey and Fresno Chilies) on the menu which I've really enjoyed

Damm...

Pup n Taco. Now there's a blast from the past! 😶‍🌫️

I tell people good Italian food is wasted on me, I like crappy pizza and Prego right out of the jar.

I prefer a take and bake from the local grocery store over Domino's or Pizza Hut, Costco or Sams Club Pizza is just fine .

I dated an Italian girl from NYC who's family was the type where they spent days using a pressure cooker to turn tomatoes, wine and garlic into gravy that only Grandma could make and they all acted like it was the second coming of JC himself. They all would grab bread and dip during the cook and blah blah blah. I thought it tasted like bland Prego pizza sauce.

When I was in Italy across the courtyard from the Pope I had pizza nd it was pretty good but it was the no red sauce type and the first time I ever had that, It was good.

Two schools of thought on dipping bread in the gravy. One says you should never ever do it. The bread imparts a taste that changes the sauce for the worst. My family always had fresh bread from Mazzulis' and a quarter of that was consumed from "checking" the gravy.

What would your family do if I started dipping my crust in ranch dressing?😎😂

Funny thing, we never made pizza as a family. Pasta was sacred but none of the family would try to tell you how you do you. Traditional Christmas eve dinner was spaghetti with crab claws and legs simmered in the marinara. The family was fairly diluted from full blooded Italian so there was always someone who didn't like crab bringing their own food.
