Bear With Me

jesus that's big.
a lady at works husband was just killed by a bear in missouri 2 weeks ago. he's an outdoorsman who goes off grid for a week and survives on his own off the land. he had sent pics of the alleged bear to the family showing the bear had come into his camp.
when he didn't return they sent a search party out and found his remains. someone got the bear also, not sure if it was family or rangers.
 
I remember as a kid there was a taxidermy shop in La Mesa that had a large polar bear like that one in the front window of the shop. Don't know what ever happened to it when the shop closed, that one might even be the same one as it's kinda frowned upon to hunt them now
 
My dad got chased by a polar bear up in the Aluetian islands in WWII....they were young marines with a 30 cal machine gun....nobody wanted to stop and set it up...they just kept running......He was in Attu when the Japanese did the fake attack there and then attacked Midway.....
