SCAM calls.

I get about 5 a day, saying I owe taxes, my loan is approved and waiting, do you want to sell your property ? I block all numbers and get the exact same shit the next day also. The funny one I have been getting lately Is, someone asking me if I want to sell my Dads property, umm im sorry what ?? Of course I never reply.

But I did show my dad the texts and told him I might sell his house! He was honestly pissed off at the scammers and me, So now I threaten him once a week that I have some pretty good offers on his house and I just might sell it:ROFLMAO:

Same with me and my Mom's house... 🤣.

I told one of them, "Don't fucking bother me unless you have 3 million to hand over! (the house is 1.5 - 2 mil, currently).

I got a call a few hours later that I ignored and a voicemail that said, "We can offer you 3 million for that property!"

I made sure to let my Mom know. Needless to say she wasn't happy then, but some time passed and she was pretty impressed that I joked around and found a $3,000,000 actual value in a house she'll never move out of. She paid $59,000 for it.

I now work for a roofing company in Idaho and am learning all about the calls. Anytime you search anything. “My roof …..” it gets sent to lead ad agencies that pay for this information and in turn sell it to the contractors that pay for that information. There is no way to stop that, except if you are on a dnc (do not contact) list the company can be charged $1500/per call even to the same number. My boss has made it VERY clear that we do not contact these people as well as anyone that asks not to be contacted when we call. Scam calls though- i enjoy wasting their time and see it as time they lose from trying to scam someone else.

Just got one, I answered with my FBI fraud division how can I direct your call instantly became a dial tone

I was getting 4-5/day. Now it's 1/day.

I don't answer and block each number afterwards.

I have over 400 blocked numbers.

What part of Idaho are you in ?

Constant barrage of calls for me. Compounding it, I made the mistake of checking out Angie's List for a small patch of concrete in the back yard last year and those MFers pass that number around like it's a crack pipe.

Yesterday was 16 scam calls. All left the same VM. Just a different number. All blocked after. Today 4 calls

I used to get a couple a day from the same guy but different numbers for health insurance or something. One day I went off on him. Started getting 70-80 a day for several months after that lol
