So, who's headed for points north?

We may end up in Oregon this summer for a quick trip without any toys. I spent a few weeks doing the research I need to pack up and head out, that's usually all that holds me back these days.

I have some old Work/Havasu friends that want us to come and visit in Wyoming but that should piggyback a Idaho/Yellowstone 2-3 week trip that I'm not ready for. That's next year!

I actually preferred Winchester. I could put together a good flow with a combo of hills and trails that made for a good ride there. But no beach access for vehicles there. Winchester has a lot of badass worm trails that a blast on quads.

Coos is more crowded and the whoops on the sand roads to the different sections of dunes are crazy. Not fun. The northern section from Riley Ranch to Spinreel aint bad, but a relatively small area. All areas at Coos have beach access though via whooped out sand roads.

It's big fun! Riding on the beach is awesome, and there is Nothing like running single track Sand trails...

Through the pine trees...

At Night!!! 😱😁😁

Winchester is awesome too. Spinreel ain't bad either.

There is nothing bad up there, it's all good, big fun and Very different than Glamis.

This vid is from one of our quad club runs back in the day. Must have been over 20 years ago now.

Coos Bay.

I’m hoping to head to St Anthony’s next weekend if I get everything squared away, Although it’s technically almost due east for me, slightly south 😀I will be headed north to Alaska for several weeks directly following the Idaho trip though. So I figured that qualified me to post on this thread.

Outstanding!

Alaska is the most beautiful place I've ever been. Where are you heading to up there?

Nothing planned for myself but my daughters heading to Salmon idaho next month to float the Salmon River for 6 days. 8 days total.
Super excited for her. It's going to be a trip of a lifetime for a 15-year old.

We are heading to Taylor Park for the 4th. But that's more South.

I’m going to Ketchikan. I keep my boat there . Been boating/fishing there for 25 years. But alas, a change is blowing in the wind. At the end of this summer I’m planning to bring the boat down from Alaska. Ultimate destination is either La Paz or Loreto Mexico. I’m trading Halibut and Salmon for Yellowtail and Dorado. Looking forward to warmer climate and pretty much year-round opportunities. The ultra-short season in Ketchikan is just getting too challenging.

You're a lucky man. 👍🏼

I might know someone in Loreto. Please post lots of pics when you get back.

I'm jelly. 😎

Heading up to the Oregon coast next month. First leg of a three month cross country trip.
No sand rail, no SxS, no quad, just the Jeep. Might see if I can get to some of these spots from a few years ago in the Talon with the Jeep.
